Building hype is crucial for any launch, but it’s especially important before major industry events. Omega and Swatch (both owned by Swatch Group), shook the watch world before the industry's marquee event, Watch and Wonders, with two big launches following the same theme: White. It started with Omega’s new white dial Speedmaster, followed by Swatch’s all-white Moonswatch, a plastic version of Omega's pricier model. The launch actually started back in 2023 with a sneaky sighting of Omega’s Speedmaster on the wrist of Daniel Craig. Here's the kicker: Neither Omega or Swatch will be at Watches and Wonders.
