Midday Squares made one simple packaging change — and sales skyrocketed. The fix? Making it undeniably clear there were 4 bars in the pack, not just one. The old design looked like a single, over-priced bar in a box. The lesson? Don’t make customers guess. Show the product, spell it out, and make your value obvious.

We made one small change to our packaging. Sales went up. Here’s what happened: Customers were slightly confused. Our old multi-pack design looked nice, But didn’t clearly say or show that there were 4 bars inside. Some people missed it. They thought it was a single bar in a box. So we changed it. Louder. Clearer. No guessing. Now it says “4 BARS” at the top and shows the “4 BARS” front and center. And guess what? More people are picking it up. More people are buying it. Not because the box is sexier or looks nicer. But because it makes sense in 2 seconds. Here’s the lesson: If people have to think, you’ve already lost them.
